Lozz196 Posted Thursday at 06:58 Posted Thursday at 06:58 I was at that gig too Steve, yeah sound not that great but was pleased to see them as always thought there was just something "more" to them than a lot of the other bands around at the time. 1 Quote

Caught By The Fuzz was the best song of that Brit rock scene at the time. I'd rate them well above Blur (boring) and Oasis (a bit crap) That Wembley gig was amazing. I'm not a huge Foo Fighters fan but to see them with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones was very cool plus Dave on drums is always a treat. 2 Quote

During the peak of Britpop and whilst at Edinburgh festival, my girlfriend at the time and I met up with her posh family (over from the Cayman Islands!). Her posh auntie said to me "are you a fan of Blur or Oasis?" "I'm more into Supergrass really" I say...a great conversation killer 😄 I'm glad @Bagman found a copy, I was about to crawl into the loft space where there's a pile of Bass magazines and spiders 😂 I'm sure Mick Quinn is in there somewhere.
