I think he has all his equipment set up details on his web site but for some reason I can't get on it - server trouble I think...

Anyho

I thought he used two Sunn Bass Amps in the early days and Marshall these days with each amp going through a 8 x 10 cab. if his web site comes back on line I'm sure you'll get all the answers there - www.chrissquire.com

'Stag' owns an original Ric-o-Sound unit for his Riccie - We had a play with splitting his bass signal at our 'Mini Bass Bash' recently where we fed one output to one bass stack and the other to..well.. another obviously!

It works! and a pretty cool idea too!

Not this one, just a pic for description purposes

I have a copy of Bassist magazine from 1996 I believe, in which CS says he had his original Rick modified for stereo partially bicause of pickup imbalance, but also because his distortion pedal at the time sounded great with the neck pickup, but awful with the bridge. So you may be right!

I believe that's the case too, I have a Bass Player with CS on the cover from a couple of years ago with a CS interview and I will check that.
