john_the_bass
Walking out of Asda an hour ago, put my hand in the pouch thing on the front of my hoody for my car keys, thought, "funny, what's that" and fished out my ER-15 earplugs. Must have put them in there by accident after last night's practice. Except one of the filters has fallen out and gone missing. Any idea the best place for replacements? Cheers John
harvey1-8
I lost one once. But then I found it. So that isn't much help. Go back to where you bought them. I'm sure they'll be able to help. That's what I was going to do.
chris_b
Go back to where you brought them, but they'll only order from www.hearingprotection.co.uk so you could call and order a set directly.
john_the_bass
True enough. I got the originals from the David Omerod hearing place at my local Boots. I've found them for £55 a set which seems to be the cheapest in the UK, I can buy a single one for £39.99, but I figure for an extra 15 quid I might as well buy a pair in case it happens again and ALWAYYS PUT THEM BACK IN THE CASE WHEN I'VE FINISHED WITH THEM F*cks sake - it's my own bloody stupid fault, but what a pain in the bottom. ezbass
You can buy replacements (or different levels of attenuation) bloody expensive though http://www.audiorelief.co.uk/shop/product_...CzVViaMcdmc_J07 or you could go to the manufacturer http://www.elacin.com/hearing-protection/e...er-flexcomfort/

That's a good price, would probably be useful info for others. Sorry to hear you lost one, really annoying.
john_the_bass
I ended up getting them from www.pjbox.co.uk for £59 delivered (£55 + p&p). I'm still pissed off at myself for losing them but it will teach me to not keep them in the pouch.

Dood
If it's any help guys - the 'ER' bit of the name refers to the company who make the filters themselves - Etymotic Research. Contact them directly or via t'interweb. Their sales lady (whose name escapes me right now) was absolutely brillaint when I needed accesories. I even got some nice freebies thrown in too. I should go direct to them. On a side note - Etymotic Research manufacuture under the names 'Elacin' and 'Heroes Ear Plugs' too.
