pantherairsoft
Hi guys, can anyone recommend a decent am case or amp bag for my MArkBass SA450 head. I am trying to avoid paying £90 odd quid for the Markbass one, as much as I would love it... I would prefer a bag over a flight/brief case style bt will consider anything that people have some experience and success with. I have tried all the local shops for a standard padded messenger style bag, but have not found one that is large enough for the head... RussFM
Wouldn't a 2U rack bag do the job for that?
pantherairsoft
Ah, yes... I should of said.... A 2U rack bag would be fine... but I do not have the rack ears as I bought my SA450 without them, and with a set of rack ears costing the same as the rack bag I was looking for other options... That does still work out cheaper than the MarkBass bag though so is currently the best option! I am happy to just have a case and bag I just take it out of/put it back into for transportation and storage though... its no big stress to do so. pantherairsoft
Found this... Seems pretty good for the price and no worries about it fitting or not! yorick
Decent laptop bag? I use one for my LG350.

I use one for my LG350.
I have tried a few in the last 3 days and I just can't quite get it to fit as the SA450 is quite fat. Even those which claim to have internal dimensions big enough, just don't without a serious squeeze
cLepto-bass
I recently got myself one of these and it works a treat. £15 is a damn good price too.

They are quite light (aluminium) and come with a strap though it would be painfully thin if the case was holding something heavy.
pantherairsoft
My heart says spend £40 and get a bag made to size, my wallet says sod that! ;-)
lemmywinks
I use a little case from B&Q, they were £16 for two different sized cases. They're £20 now so not such a good deal: http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?acti...;isSearch=false I use one for my LMII and the other is good for leads and the odd pedal
