lowdown Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 This Arrived yesterday... From the evilbay... 1987...i think this is the first year of the 5 strings. The back of the neck is not oiled like the newer ones. To my ears the sound is more like the old Rays... Have they changed the pre's on the newer ones...??? Anyway play's like a dream.. Paid £820.00...proberly a bit over the top for a secondhand Musicman. But it plays and sounds superb......
