Dronny Posted Tuesday at 14:26 Posted Tuesday at 14:26 Selling my Vintage (brand) V1004DX bass, I've had it for a fair few years now (probably 10 or more!), originally bought as a backup but I actually used it for a few gigs and really enjoyed playing it. It's currently strung with TI flats, and in great condition. It's kept in a smoke-free home, but doesn't have a gig-bag or anything, hence the reasonable asking price. Collection only from near Swindon, in Wiltshire. 8

I never knew Vintage made a 5 string V1004. Was it known as a V1005 to reflect this ?🤔 1

Sorry but I don't have a suitable box, and unless I can get to a bike shop (my usual way of blagging a box big enough), I can't easily get hold of one. I have a busy week ahead but maybe at the weekend I'll look into getting hold of a box big enough...

Thanks, but I wasn't really able to find anything (eBay, etc) to base my pricing on, other than what I paid for it over ten years ago. Too late to change my mind now, just happy to move it on to a good home. 6

I recall paying £250 or £260 for mine. I see no shame in asking for more. You're not being greedy if you do, the because these are pretty decent instruments and yours is quite simply worth more than a hundred quid IMO 2
