Thought id update my porn thread, took delivery of Eudes Shuker this morning, Been pratting around with it for the last 10 hours solid. Im so happy with it so I thought id share some pics and my other basses n stuff too. Actually, im so happy with the Shuker, I parted ways with my Modulus.

(description stolen from Eude page)
33" Scale, which to my suprise is very easy to play
Downsized J Bass shape, Slab Finished Black Walnut body with Black Wet Look Gloss finish and matching headstock (a bugger to keep clean and shiny wink.gif )
5 piece Mahogany/Wenge neck with graphite rods, 22 frets and Rosewood Fingerboard
EMG JV pickups and ACG Preamp, Eude was also kind enough to throw in the original EMG electronics too.
Hope you dont mind Eude, I stole one of your pics as my cam is sh*te.

This is my P bass I put together, (see link in my signiture for the full build) Finally got it 100% working and finnished, more then happy with it. Altho, since these pics were taken ive set the pickup heights. these pics just show the pups in.
Crappy P body - Resprayed
mighty mite neck from USA
Semore Dunc 1/4 pounders
Fender knobs/pots
Pre-Groved Badass (came from a Highway 1 Fender before you ask where I got it) (cheers Burpster)
Roto Jazz flats (altho my change them to something else once they start going.

This is my new Beast, Been trying to get a 410HLF 2nd hand for a month 2, ended up going to Electro music to buy a new one, Turns out they had a 3 month old 2nd hand 610HLF that someone bought and didnt get on with so brought back in part ex for a dif one. Aint a mark on it and got it for cheeper then a new 410, Winner!
Bought the Ampeg SVT3-pro from Jayc from BC, with the case and Behringer Power/light thingy. superb, much lighter then the Marshall VBA400 I had plus it suits me sound wise. Very indyesk. Love it!

All together now (Rowbee now has the Flea Bass, sound bloke)

More then happy with it all. Except im gasing for a Jazz from Shuker, but apart from that im pretty much complete.

That light thing really suprised me actually, getting it with the head I didnt know much about it, didnt realise you can plug "kettle" leads into the back of it to power other things.

Pic with it on..

Nahh, Marcus bought it new and I got it off him. I wanted a clear plate on it too when I first got it. Happy with the JD though
Don't Sell The Flea! Lol. The shuker looks good. Remarkable difference in playbility due to the smaller scale or...?
its not that much smaller really, very suttle. It plays like a dream. Im so lucky Eude wanted something differant, I was spec'ing up a shuker very similer to this anyways, I just wanted a blue maple top, maple fretboard and a BAii but now ive played this, I wouldnt change a thing about it. The scale makes it quite a bit easyer to get around the frets too.

Edit: Id edit the spelling mistakes but im iliterate and a lil drunk

Nice trio - very versatile. You'll regret letting the red 'ray' float away though - you mark my words!!!

Regretted it the day I sent it off, sentimental value too, was my first decent bass. Its gone to a good home and a BC member, if I regret it later on ill throw money at him till he gives it me back lol.

really glad the bass arrived safe and sound and that you're really digging it :)
It was tough to say good bye, but I'm glad it's gone to a good home.

Enjoy

"Really digging it" doesnt cover it. its awesome in the true sence of the word.
Cheers Eude.
Woah, those pinks look amazing! I hope you do like the sound of them too. :)
im not a fan, I prefer the D'Addario's that were on it.
Gonna put them on my Modulus tomorrow if I havent cut them down too much, i think they will sound much nicer with the modulus growl.

Ive never had DR string's so its nice to try them out. Are these the same as black beauties but pink?

Yeah, they come in loads of different colours but they are all fundamentally the same string. I had them on my Squier VM Jazz, my Warwick (both ex-basses) and have used them for years on my Sterlings and I love the bottom, the crunch and the zinginess I can get out of them.

I hope you find a use for them - look crazy on that Flea though. :)

Yeah im not sure they would look great on the flea compaired to the black Shuker, but ive always had Elixirs on the flea so would be nice to see what else suits that bass tone wise.
I dont mind shelling out for stings to give them a try. Ive got quite a few barely used string sets. I should see if anyone wants them really but I dont know what most of them are. Definatly got 2 sets of elixirs. pretty sure I have some Rotos hanging about, but I did give soem away at the last bass bash. pretty sure I have an elixer B string somewhere too, think I swapped them over when I sold my bongo and put the Ernie ball slinkys back on, or I have a 5 set of Ernie balls. lol.
