Gank Bass Posted Wednesday at 17:05 Author Posted Wednesday at 17:05 And there you have it folks! She lives! The bridge is actually really easy to operate and set up. Even fitting was a breeze as the furthest mounting hole lines up perfectly with a standard 5 screw bridge. Used some old witch hats I had in my box o junk and I think I will leave them on inkeeping with the occult theme Just got to wait 7 weeks to actually play it after dislocating 2 fingers in my right hand. Peace out! 8 1 Quote

Oh, that sucks 😖. However, the bass looks great and Lee Sklar would hugely approve of your ‘flipping the bird’ with dislocated digits. 1 Quote

I will do a test fit/string up but I can see a router recessing job in my future That’s some proper ‘steam punk’ vintage engineering right there - I love it, and I’ll bet that thing would even cure Thunderbird neck dive! Gank Bass Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Now the build is complete I am thinking of selling the bass (my enjoyment comes from the process not the end product) How would one go about valuing such an instrument? Quote
tauzero Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Looks really good. I trust that the dislocated fingers weren't linked to the construction. As for valuing it, I have no idea. One-offs get valued at all sorts of prices, including the totally delusional. I would guess at a bit more than an intact headed T24, it's going to depend on how much someone wants a headless. Quote
