lemmywinks Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Thomann have the 5 strings up at £949 for plain colours and £977 for the Black Cherry and Black Stain, so £977 then as Cherry is the best colour. https://www.thomann.co.uk/spector_icon_ns_5_bolt_on_bg.htm https://www.thomann.co.uk/spector_icon_ns_5_bolt_on_bcg.htm They're £888 and £949 respectively for the 4 strings: https://www.thomann.co.uk/spector_icon_ns_2_bolt_on_bg.htm https://www.thomann.co.uk/spector_icon_ns_2_bolt_on_bcg.htm Edited 5 hours ago by lemmywinks 1 Quote
Jonesy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I'm not usually a fan of quilted tops, but they do look good on more modern shaped basses. Still, I think it's the white one for me - it's pure Mike Starr and looks like his Euro sig. 1 Quote
cetera Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago We should see some slightly cheaper prices here between Andertons, Bass Direct, GuitarGuitar and a few others.... Quote

Although I won't be joining the queue to buy one, this sort of product is exactly why Spector appears to be going from strength to strength. And to reference another thread, G&L needs to have a look at what Korg has enabled Spector to do. 1 Quote

I'm waiting on an update as to any other future releases, but in all honesty I don't see why they would as it would muddy the waters with the Euro series unless it comes with Aguilars and a lower grade build. It make more sense to me to have three distinct ranges and price points.... Far East bolt-on basses, through neck Euro basses and custom shop USA basses. Edited 5 minutes ago by cetera spelling Quote
Mike Brooks Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago (edited) Who wrote the script... 'comfortability'...? It's not even a word. Come on, marketing department at Korg.... that's just Buzzword Bingo. Edited 45 minutes ago by Mike Brooks 1 Quote

An NS Icon NT replacing the NS Ethos would make sense (and also close the price gap between the NS Bolt-on and the Euro). As Aguilar and Spector both belong to Korg, they could go for Aguilar pickups and preamp again. Someone left this question in the comments for the official Spector NS Icon Bolt-On video and Spector replied. I am not really into emojis, so I asked Gemini what the eyes emoji stands for and here is the answer. Well, still don't know what the eyes emoji means in this context. Flirting maybe? 😉 Quote
