Richard Jinman Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Not sure the guy in this Paul Smith ad knows how to play DB, but it’s good to know the instrument is in fashion. 1 Quote
Kevsy71 Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I believe in fashion catalogues that pose is known as “3rd position”… 1 Quote
NancyJohnson Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Company I worked at for ten years ran a Paul Smith line. Wristwatches. Made in China, hideously overpriced, garishly designed, same innards/movements as the products we used to put into Argos for £20.00 a pop. People are stupid. 1 Quote

Made in China, hideously overpriced, garishly designed, same innards/movements as the products we used to put into Argos for £20.00 a pop. People are stupid. That applies to many fashion products. They're made in the same factories, using the same basic components as budget items. Modern mass market quartz watch movements are so good, they'll rival or better a Rolex for accuracy. My favourite example is Oakley sunglasses. The Oakley brand is owned by Luxottica, which also owns just about every other major brand and makes for most of the fashion houses. The cost to produce those Oakleys people pay hundreds for is 15 cents. That's what they come off the production for. Quote
