jimbobothy Posted August 17 Posted August 17 (edited) Hey all, Ā Recently got one of these before the prices shot up! Great sounds can be had, would have preferred a higher level of QC but all works so overall okay. Ā Now to see if I can transfer the lines I can play on my basses to this ha ha š! RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted August 19 Posted August 19 These are great ! If I didnāt have the Moog grandmother and minitaur, Iād get one also. They look cool also. Have you seen the Bad Gear episode of this ?Ā Quote
jimbobothy Posted August 19 Author Posted August 19 (edited) Yeah, I wanted the smaller size as when I plan to play it (at church) itāll be in combo with electric bass, so I didnāt want to lug loads of extra stuff about. Also the price I got it for was pretty good tbh šš». Ā Ā The Grandmother was on my possible list due to the larger keybed, but I thought presets would come in very useful.Ā Ā Lastly reading the Moog forums, there seemed to be a few problems that could occur, so buying new with an extended warranty (donāt normally get those) seemed to be prudent! Ā ps. Iāve also just pulled the trigger on a Novation BSII, and trying to find a DSI Mopho SE ha ha. I seem to have a Monosynth mania at the moment, no need for any polyphonicness for me 𤣠 Edited August 19 by jimbobothy 2 Quote

RhythmJunky Posted Saturday at 21:40 Posted Saturday at 21:40 I recently went to watch a live band in a local pub. They are a pretty well known band in Ireland, never made the big time but are well respected. Ā The bassplayer had one of those on the rather cramped stage next to him. He played a total of 4 notes on it the entire gig.Ā Ā But then again, at one point in the gig, one of the 2 drummers on stage was playing a diggeridoo duel with a guitarist, also on a diggeridoo. Ā It's been a while since I saw anyone play a diggeridoo, now all of a sudden 2 show up at once. šĀ Ā Great gig, but madly chaotic at times.Ā Ā 2 Quote
