Hello,

I bought this beauty a around 3 years ago from 'Bass Bros' https://bassbros.co.uk/sold-basses/1986-vigier-passion/

I loved it so much I had to buy an old  Vigier Arpege, It's been two years I haven't played it, hence the sale.

It does needs a new set of strings and a setup.

I'm asking the same price I paid for.

The description and the professional photos are from 'Bass Bros'

A beautiful, very early Vigier Passion bass. This is serial number 036, with the rare full graphite neck appose to the 10/90 necks they used after this. Truly this bass needs to be played to be appreciated, it plays itself and has that punchy, bright tone you’d expect from a Vigier. There are some dings and cracks in the lacquer, as photographed, throughout the body. These are not structural and are just in the finish. Nothing major or that affects the working of the bass.

Oh my oh my oh my! If I wasn't about to emigrate for good I would already be on a tube. If this lasts to the end of the day I'll be amazed. I have Ped's old Passion with the graphite neck and can safely say it is the most easy playing bass imaginable. And this one has even better looks as well. Whoever gets this will be very very lucky.

Thanks mate!!! You got a legendary bass from a legendary member.

They are very special instruments.

It's the best looking bass I have with the best color, it's not easy to let it go but I'm not using it at all

Lovely! Am I right in thinking that the resin in the neck has some blue tint? I’ve only seen that a few times, both times in a red tint. Very rare and stunning colour.

The horns on these earlier passion basses were wider than later on. It’s a great shape that hangs well from a strap.

The silver lines on the body - they used to be slices of ‘delta metal’ when Vigier used them under the fingerboard before the carbon necks. I’m not sure but that could be the same here unless they’re painted on.
