ryan0583 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Last night at rehearsal I got an electric shock when my lips touched the mic. I'm checking things over to try and work out what it might be, including checking the earth connection in my bass - a Reverend Rumblefish 5L. Things seem OK but there's a loud buzz when I touch the pole pieces of the front pickup, which makes me think this isn't earthed. This doesn't happen with the back pickup, so it would appear that one is earthed. Does anyone know if this normal for this bass? Quote

I’d post this in the Repairs & Technical forum - the folk that frequent it are likely to offer some solutions and it’s more likely to get noticed and addressed there. Quote

neepheid Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I suspect Inga is on a quest for quick post count amassing... do people still care about that these days? It's like having a visitor counter on your Geocities web page, lol. 1 Quote
