Kev Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I thought the logo had changed, do you have to ask for the old logo? Quote
Lozz196 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Always the way isn’t it, finding that what you had and moved on worked better than its replacement. To quote Neil from The Young Ones, if I had a penny for every time I’ve done that I’d have £5.63! 2 Quote

I don't understand why they would do this, as nobody is now able to mix older One10's with newer One10's, as I have tried here. I am within my rights to ask for a refund, as it's just been delivered today, and I ordered it online through their website, so I have 14 days to ask for a refund and another 14 days to return it. I would also accept a replacement cab, but it's taken more than 10 weeks to get this one, I'm not sure i want to wait that long again! What a bizarre decision! Is this reflected on the website/store in the description? Is it due to them making the active versions? I'd ask them for one like your old one, if possible, or sadly a refund. Quote

To say I'm a bit gutted is an understatement. New cab on top. Could you live with it? I can't, I've asked for a refund. This has to be a mistake1! I'd email Alex , explain what they've done and ask them to send you a cab that matches your current cab. IMO it's reasonable to expect newer models to match older models, unless they've highlighted any changes. Quote

I'm not best pleased with it really, I've basically been blamed for not noticing that the handle and feet placement had changed in the pictures on their website, and if I'd wanted it to match an older style cab then I should have specified it, despite there being no option to specify it on the website. They have offered to collect this one, and make me one to match my existing cab though, but I don't know how long that is going to take, I've waited over 10 weeks for this one. Humbug. Quote
Obrienp Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Shocking! I would be inclined to just return it for a refund and stuff them. Don’t get these issues with LFSys and their 10” cabs are definitely a cut above BF IMO. 2 Quote

It just looks like a stock One10 to me, I'd perhaps understand a little more if it was customised and harder to sell to someone else. Quote
BassAdder60 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I guess Alex is right they have sold you as per the details on their website Problem is 10weeks is crazy so they need to start building some for stock like other manufacturers do so in cases like this it’s possible to correct errors even though it appears it’s the buyer who made the error not the seller Quote
ossyrocks Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Ok, Alex is building me another "quickly" and they are collecting this one. Alex has amended the website today to prevent this from happening again. So now when ordering the "old style logo" to match your existing cabs, there is now an option for "Cab Mirroring" which has the following description - "If you want this for a One10 to match an old One10, where the handle and side feet are on opposite sides to the current One10, this requires a custom cab build - please select this customisation if you want us to build a reversed One10 to match your old one." https://barefacedaudio.com/products/old-badge-block-style-not-script-style If this had been an option when I ordered, all of this could have been avoided. Still, I think their response is the right one now, and I'm going to get the cab I thought I'd ordered. Rob 7 Quote

Giving attitude or calling the customer wrong is just bad customer service 🤷🏻♂️ though appreciate it's hearsay without seeing how they actually phrased it. Quote

Rob Okay that's better, at least he's acknowledged the mistake on his part and taken steps to stop it happening again. Quote

Lozz196 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s nice to see that both this and the website are being addressed pdq. Quote
