Mute for Stingray

Years ago I had this handy little fabric pad which I slipped under the strings on my Jazz (both the pad and the Jazz are now long lost) - was wondering if this would work in the same way?

Yes I’ve got one of those, they mute the strings quite heavily , which is good if you’re looking for that but I found it a bit too much, i did lots of experimenting with different types and  sometimes the foam under the strings at the bridge does a good job

I have one and it is a waste of money.  Piece of foam works much better.

I contacted them and suggested they change the name to String Strangler but they never got back to me.

I decided to skip this purchase based on the comments. I found a 3/4" strip off a cheap Magic Eraser worked really well, slipped under the strings behind the bridge - happy days!!

I bought one of these and wished I hadn't.
