Just thought of a couple more old ones:

Brahms and Liszt, which is long established.

Lionel (Bart), which I once heard/read June “Dot Cotton” use as rhyming slang for flatulence.

And of course ‘Lionels’ as in flairs 👍

I thought I Loued a Moody, So I took a Robert to the Elton but nothing came from my Mylene, it turned out I just wanted a Geddy.

Lou Reed - Need

Geddy Lee - Wee

Elton John - John

Robert Fripp - Trip

Moody Blue(s) - Poo(s)

Mylene Klass - donkey

Trick is the slang has to lead/suggest the word in replaces, so ‘Jethro’ immediately suggests Tull so ‘Jeez the TV is a bit Jethro today’ shouts Dull. Not many lionels, leos or jethros out there hence they work better than many others, at least among people who’ve heard of them 👍

Fleetwood Mac - back

As in "that bass cab was heavy, nearly put my fleetwood out"

I like that. "Careful mate, you're only a guitarist and that's a heavy plectrum, you'll put your Fleetwood out if you're not careful" :)
