I always thought the fretted Westone's were decent but the fretless versions were exceptional.

I've got a couple of Thunders; I think they are really good basses in any company regardless of price.

 

 

(They are quite heavy, though.)

Used to own a Thunder 1A, one of the few basses I wish I'd kept hold of. Certainly wish I'd kept it over the Washburn I traded it for.

 

Got to agree with Prowla, they are quite heavy.
