Quilly Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 (edited) I had a moment of madness and put one of my valve amps up for sale over the weekend, luckily I had a change of heart 🥵 Edited September 15, 2021 by Quilly 1 Quote
Quilly Posted yesterday at 21:47 Posted yesterday at 21:47 I actually sold my ctm100 , found it a bit impractical for the kinda bands I was playing with. Quote

Beedster Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Gigged my Ashdown Drophead 200 head with a Mesa 1x15 and Mesa 16 (1x10, 2x6) and if bandmates and audience are to be believed, the effect in the room was at times visceral. The Drophead is not the most versatile of units by comparison with my Mesa heads, but it does has something rather special lurking in the glass 👍 1 Quote

And a valve pre-amp with a Class D is like Guinness Zero (I knows, I got one). I had my first Guinness Zero last night. The first few sips are pretty convincing, but by the end of the glass I'm noticing some odd flavour notes that don't quite sit right. 1 Quote
Sean Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I'll be taking at least 3 big old valve monsters (with valve power sections) to the South West Bass Bash and if anyone has an 8x10 they could bring along, we could do a VAV initiation for a small donation. Edited 2 hours ago by Sean Quote
