Right,

Jon has been off sick for about 2 weeks so can't blame him for not doing much but the following has been done :

Tuner holes drilled
Neck pocket has been routed
Carving on the back and for arm rest has been done

Here's a quick shot of the bass.

Looks really sweet! That redwood has totally popped :rolleyes: Does this mean youre going for laquer rather than oil finish?

I might as well answer that one :rolleyes: Yeah, it was an obvious choice after working with the Redwood that an oil/wax finish wouldn't provide a tough enough finish, so I'm using Rustin's Plastic Coating instead.

Hey Mikey

There was a small problem that needed rectifying before I could get my hands on this beauty so Simo will be dropping off the bass for me on Wednesday so by the weekend I will have some more photos for ya :)
