Giacomo
Found this in a local shop, decided to trade in a PRS electric guitar as a partial trade I have to say this bass is incredible, sound really articulate and the B strings is super tight I see there's not much talk about PRS basses on here, just wanted to share for future references
Graham
That looks really interesting, so you know what the pickups/electronics are? What's the scale length?
Giacomo
It's a 34 scale Pickups are custom made by PRS (same for all their electric guitars, they all mount custom made PUs) First 2 knobs are volume for pickup 1 and 2, push pull for active passive Last 3 knobs are usual 3 band EQ Works also full passive without batteries

OliverBlackman
I recall that there were cheaper PRS SE models that didn’t seem to take off, but wasn’t this model quite expensive new?
Giacomo
I understood it first came as a Private Stock only product, which means $$$, 7-8k price tag, and that was only maple board (maybe I'm wrong here) Then they started both the production and SE models In Italy it's sold new between 4 and 4,5k eur, in US cost less, on reverb the ones available are quite expensive though Mine is a 2016 model
Grahambythesea
Was it well discounted as it has no strings? 🤪 1

PatrickJ
@Giacomo - can you do a shot of the full fretboard please? I love PRS inlay designs and am curious to what's on this bass.
