Ideally Looking to trade this 2005 fender USA precision deluxe for a passive USA precision or USA jazz,either maple or rosewood,and I’m not to fussy what colour

Fender precision deluxe ash made in 2005 in the USA,all the usual deluxe appointments,sculpted heel,rolled finger board,active 18V pre amp,finished in butterscotch,strung with a fresh set of flats,has 2finish cracks either side of the heel,it’s just the finish and not the wood,plays really well with endless tonal shaping,it’s just I’m not that much in to active basses,much prefer passive,comes with a new fender gigbag,can post if needed,but ideally meet up would be best,and don’t mind adding cash for the right bass

Lovely bass. Haven't got what you need unfortunately but have you considered changing the pre to one with a push-pull pot for passive/active? Best of both that way!

Glockenklang comes to mind..

I was looking into getting just a switch fitted for a passive mode,if that was possible?,plus I didn’t want to get a full new EQ or  to rip the guts out of it,but just settled on getting back to basics with a standard bass

I sold this bass a few years back, those lacquer cracks have never moved.

The original owner from Leigh had taken the neck off " to have a look" & over tightened when putting it back on.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BASS & that price is a steal.

Good luck Mark.

My Elite Jazz is the best I've ever played.

This is helped by;

Ki0gon totally passive loom, with series/parallel switch & stack knobs ala '60 Jazz.

This mod made a superbly playable jazz an immense sounding one.

What part of Manc are you?

Last time I picked a bass up from Mark he was in Ashton Under Lyne area - Denton I think.

Droylsden M436pn,

Sorry - I know the area well enough, still get Droylsden and Denton mixed up. Denton is the one with the island traffic jams 😂
