I've owned two of these bad boys, lovely basses and a decent price too!

They are very nice, it has served me well but it is time to move it on.

They do. Aerodyne P. They come up a bit less often. I've only seen photoflame finished versions come up in bright colours but maybe someone else here knows more on them.

They certainly come in black as well, the only difference I believe is the pup and the neck.

Love these. Mine seems to have risen to the top of my pile as number 1 go to; not bad as I have about 15 other basses! GLWTS

Thanks. Yes, they are great basses but I am a big fan of the Ibanez premium basses, so this one is not being played as much as it deserves.

For sale (not 100% sure) is this white Yamaha BB3000A, the active version, made in Japan in the mid '80s. Stunning rosewood fretboard and with only a few minor marks...very good condition and all original, except for the golden string tree.
Only for sale because i can use the money. I don't think there is a better version of this bass in this condition...really good example and you know how good it sounds:)
I can include a case (not original) and i can ship.
Please contact me personally for more pictures/information.
      Weight: 4.1kg.
      Offers are welcome.

Stunning made in Japan Tokai custom edition 63 P Bass, excellent condition, fitted with a tortoise plate & has the original black plate that will come with the bass, the Bass plays & sounds fantastic. This is a late 80’s/ very early 90’s 63 replica. Comes set up & strung with chrome flats with a super low action. anyone that knows about these custom edition basses knows how superb & rare these models are, they used all the better woods etc. Reluctant sale.

Geddy Lee too. Saw this for sale pre-owned and thought I’d take the plunge with the money I’d been saving for a telecaster. Didn’t get the chance to try it before buying so a bit of a whim.
I have hands on the big side, so was a bit wary of Jazz basses int be past. This doesn’t seem as narrow at the nut as some I’ve tried. Seems fairly comfy and is noticeably thinner front to back than my American Special Precision. The neck on the Precision is amazing and this Geddy is a different kind of amazing.
Action is a tad high so I’ll tighten the truss rod a quarter turn when I put new strings on it later. Truss rod adjustment is hidden with the neck on.
Condition wise, this bass seems as good as new to me so I feel I’ve really scored. Anyhow, no pictures and all that, so here we go....can someone in the know date it for me with the serial number there....

This bass is certainly the best passive P/J 5 strings on the market that has impressed Ed FRIEDLAND himself. It has also lots of technical state of the art specifications and some patents. It is the best bass ever made by Yamaha. It has a really killer B string. The condition is very good with the usual surface scratches on the front and the usual stupid belt marks on the back.

The bass has been fully set up professionally. It has been fitted with a brand new set of D'Addario EXL170 nickel wound strings (45-130), just like Yamaha used to fit on these.

What you see is what you get !
Look at the pictures to see the real condition : some scratches and a few marks, but nothing serious at all.
Don't hesitate to ask for more.
      Dust is offered.
