It was like being a diabetic in a sweet shop I used to think that a lefty bass bash could be held in a small phone box, but it seems there are enough of us to at least warrant a shed. Wicked! They all play and sound completely different. The Shuker was made to my own specn., so has different pups (phat jazz) leds, mid range booster. It also looks and feels fantastic (IMO). I guess you'd have to play a Shuker to really appreciate the difference. I visited Jon's workshop just to have a look at his work, but he had a right handed jazz in stock, natural finish like the one he made for me, and I fell in love with it and ordered mine on the spot. Quite a sharp look if you ask me Right, well, I'll propose a date - Saturday April 18th in Somersham, Cambridgeshire for the lefty bass bash. We have a PA and I'll have a bass amp or two kicking around, I might even dig out the barbeque if we can pull a decent number together! I can suggest decent hotels in the area if anyone wants to have a few bevvies with me. Biggsy Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Marriage may be on the horizon for me so I might be letting the Ric' go prematurely. *sob* I was thinking that I'd get the best return with a worldwide ebay auction, as I want a premium for its condition and vintage, but can't bring myself to advertise it at a price higher than new, even though there are equateable basses on ebay as 'Buy It Now's' for well over £2500.
