Spoombung Posted February 11, 2018 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Yeah it's set up as a piccolo - I've played it - but it could easily be set up for normal tuning. It's a beautiful bass. Tuning is actually more than an octave higher than standard, inspired by Brian Bromberg. I took it to DGCF, hence the tautness. As you say ,with standard gauge strings , an awesome short scale bass.
