PawelG Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 (edited) Who’s the go to person in the south coast now? I’m in Portsmouth, don’t mind driving for w bit. My precision needs some love and potentially new frets. Thanks Edited December 6, 2025 by PawelG Quote
Fred Leicester Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Any recommendations of professional luthiers in Norfolk/East Anglia? I’ve taken my bass to a couple of local “luthiers” and have been left less than impressed with the work done on my bass - jobs missed/not completed properly, so really looking for someone who know what they’re doing to a high standard! I’m literally willing to travel further afield for the right person if needs be. Tired of throwing money at people who can’t even do the basics properly. Quote

Robbie Gladwell comes highly recommended .....I believe he was "The Guitar Doc" in one of the glossy mags before the internet.... I assume he's still doing the business.... Edit. Here you go.... https://drrobertsguitarsurgery.com/?fbclid=IwY2xjawPORGdleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFzTE9RM0k0R2pld3ZWS3VIc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHjscjavQNjnHrwNKbf4ZTM9p8pp78TA8cAPwlmA0vb_CYPif2nKfb34gp7Ap_aem_HDbmtFODrqt3WxG5geWCAw Edited January 9 by andyonbass 1 Quote
