Hi

I just noticed this on the BBC's website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-31912601

It looks interesting but odd to see Mark King on the roster, given that his playing is radically different to Jack Bruce's? Anyone else think that or is it just me?

MK recorded a great version of "I feel free" on his Influences album a while back, and he has been a big Cream/Bruce fan for ever IIRC. B)

[/quote]Isn`t that the sign of a good bassist that he can alter his style completely for what he has become famous for? I suppose he likes the chance to play something differently

What is the issue? Some musicians get together to celebrate Jack Bruce and his music. They may play in a totally different style. They raise money for a good cause. They are free agents and can do this in a libertarian society. Seems good to me.
