skankdelvar
If you don't mind an hour's drive there's John Chambers in Nottingham. Did some work for me one time and it was good stuff.
Roland Rock
John definitely knows his stuff. As far as I know he has scaled back his work a fair bit and you'll notice his contact details have been taken down 😞 Edited March 2, 2015 by Roland Rock
From his contact page:
Please understand that I am on my own here….doing all the work ... looking after my 83 year old Mum, doing the shopping and washing etc Contact is temporarily disabled to family commitments.
Sounds like he's got problems familiar to many of us of a certain age. @ OP - I should have checked John's site before I recommended him. Sorry about that.
pete.young
If you can make it as far as Ipswich, I recommend Dave Parker , http://www.guitarlodge.co.uk/ . He's done servicing work for me on Burman and made a good job of it. When I was there, he was rebuilding an original Ampeg flip-top. Turn around was pretty good - a couple of weeks. mikhay77
Will have a word in the local music shops and see if they have any local contacts. Might just bang em on ebay for spares or repair. lol
BILL POSTERS
If your not in a hurry, and you can get them to me near Lichfield, I can do them for you. Moving house is imminent though so it would have to wait till thats sorted.
