[s]Markbass F1 500W SS Micro Bass Amp

Great wee amp, super portable and has plenty of power. Pristine clean tone.

Looking to sell as I think it's too clean for my taste and I am looking for a Hartke HA5500.

Comes with carry bag, making it super portable.

£400 ONO + £10 P&P

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Can meet in Edinburgh City Centre or Glasgow City Centre.[/s]

I'm also a member of the F1 sold it/ bought another soon after club

Such punchy amps, if that's your thing

I hope I don't join this club!

I do like this amp, but it's not what I am after at all. I like grit and gain, and while this does take pedals nicely, I think it's too neutral for me.

Whats the difference between this and lets say a LMII / LMIII / Big Bang?

Unfortunately, I do not know. Perhaps someone else can chime in!

compared to the LM2/3 it's louder, with quicker attack, and the EQ is slightly flatter (basically you get more upper mids). You can tame it and make it sound pretty much like an LM but you can't make an LM sound like an F1

I don't know about the Big Bang, apparently it uses the same class D power amp but has been designed to sound warmer

Fancy swapping for a Carvin bx700 (super verastile all the options, lightweight, switchable valve etc) plus bit of cash?

Hey Haruki, thanks for the offer but I'm still wanting to stick to cash or a Hartke!
