1. Apologies, misread the rules. Edited my message, and will PM the OP.
 2.
Nice but a crazy price tag around 7000 GBP means that it's not for the common people...
Dang that's pricey. Might as well get a custom or two for that! Have you got a link for the price?
 3. Ibanez TCB1006 - Thundercat Signature Bass (6 string hollow body) Thundercat Ibanez page hrrrrr Need more price details though.
 4. Is the POG still available?
 5.
Very nice. The nick and the fretboard are wenge?
Correct. It's super nice. I realize after playing it a bit that the .174 gauge string isn't seated correctly on the nut. How do I widen the nut to accommodate the extra string width?
 6. Received two new strings from Neil at Newtone. They fit this time and they are huge! Need to readjust my bass to fit the bigger gauge. Thanks all who posted.
 7. Neil from Newtone is sending me out 2 new strings for the low B and E so that's kind of him. Hopefully sooner than later.
I have previously bought D'Addario singles for a Dingwall (albeit 5-string). Extra Long Scale for the B and E and Long Scale for the A to G strings, they worked fine.
I've stayed away from D'Addario before as I used to own a Carvin XB76 (35 1/4") and the strings didn't fit. If they do fit a 37" Dingwall, that'd be nice. I've been thinking of trying to find some flatwound strings for my other Dingwall but, one step at a time...
 8.
Make sure that you factor in your behind the bridge saddle length and your behind the nut length. I did not and it got expensive.
Well, being the fool that I am, I didn't explicitly mention this to Newtone and now my 2 low strings are slightly too short (the fat core part is shy an inch off the nut). I'll see if I can order another 2 that fit. In the mean time, I'll use the other strings.
 9. Newtone Strings arrived.

37" - G# - .174
36.25" - C# - .130
35.5" - F# - .100
34.75" - B - .078
34" - E - .058
33.25" - A - .044
Will found out if they fit and how they hold up this week!
 10.
Make sure that you factor in your behind the bridge saddle length and your behind the nut length. I did not and it got expensive.
Kalium tends to be long enough (oddly enough 37" is considered "Medium" for Kalium strings) so I always had a few inches excess. Fortunately Newtone has gotten back to me and they are happy to do up to .200 gauge strings. So I'll give them a spin (with some extra inches for bridge saddle and nut length.
 11. I've sent an email to inquire about the recommended gauges. I realize they do .150 maximum and I'm looking to go larger (tuning to G# Standard). If all fails, it's back to Kalium for me!
 12. Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I need 6 strings and the available gauges on the Kalium and Dingwall section aren't what I am looking for. I'll email in and see if they can put together a custom gauge set for me.
 13. Extended Length Bass Strings - Where do you buy them? I ask this question to the folks on this forum. I own 2 Dingwall ABZ6 bass guitars and I love them - however getting strings for them has been a pain in the ass as I've been using Kalium strings from the US. They sound fantastic but the shipping and customs is a pain. Does anyone have any suggestions on other suppliers for strings? Preferably more local. Apologies if this has been covered before. A quick 5 second search was fruitless.
