H_Bass Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Hi, I'm H and I play bass I started when I was 15, 35 years ago in Liverpool. I graduated to a Ric 4001 with a Marshall amp quickly to accommodate regular gigging. At 21, I moved to the South and everything suddenly stopped. In the meantime, life has happened and I've only recently bought a new bass and got my fingers used to *that* feeling again. OK, I have to admit it, I play guitar more than bass these days. I like recording my own stuff and I'm more than happy playing my own bass lines. I'm looking forward to getting involved on various fronts here: I build tube amps and I'm pretty good with guitar electronics. I'm a middling player on bass - lots of Bruce Foxton going on. I'm fairly decent on the six string - lots of Paul Weller going on there I've played out plenty of times - five years worth of two/three gigs a week in my late teens - but nothing recent.
