So far Chris has been an absolute delight to deal with and has made the whole process incredibly easy - I would recommend this company to anyone who is considering their own custom build as their customer service is like nothing I have ever encountered! Funnily enough my girlfriend has also commissioned a custom build guitar at the same time so I may also update that build in this thread as well! (I figure you can never have enough photos of gorgeous guitar builds) So, to my specs: 4 string bass 34 inch scale 21 frets One piece swamp ash body Purpleheart veneer Highly figured Spalted maple top One piece purpleheart neck with top wood inlay (Graphite reinforced With Spoke wheel truss rod) Black ebony fingerboard Custom wound Jazz bass pickups with ebony capped purpleheart covers Active 2 band preamp with active passive switch Black hipshot A style bridge Black ultralite tuners and string retainer Custom inlay on 12th fret White side dots Tru oil finish I honestly cannot wait to see how this beast turns out!
