Has anyone ever played or tested one out? I'm thinking of testing one and wondered what the majority thought about them? molan Posted August 25, 2013 Share Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) I must admit that pick guard is really not doing it for me I've played one though and thought it was nice. Didn't blow me away with the character of the US custom models but there's a lot of nice instruments coming out of Korea (i think that's where these are made) these days. shizznit Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 I played a Brute the last time I visited the US. For the money, they are very hard to beat. Their appearance won't please everyone, but there is a distinct high quality feel to them, they play very well and above all else sound fantastic. I really like them and its great that Mark @ Bass Direct is the go to man in the UK for these basses...it's been a long time coming! I recommend these basses all day. Surely if you are close by Bass Direct, try them, I am planning to try them there too sometimes because sadly at the show.... couldn't hear much of it due to the show noise.
