[/quote] Entirely possible if it's one of those haunted devil instruments (kind of like the bass equivalent of the red shoes). They don't come up often though. I fully understand that most other people may think the sound I like is utter cack in their eyes ( or ears) I haven't even plugged it in to my other rig yet and when I do, although the playability will still be there, I may not be so happy with the sound. Guess I was just lucky that what I did plug into happened to give me what I wanted immediately (Genz Benz Shuttle combo) Not really sure how much any modern amp will colour a sound.
