bluesparky Posted November 26, 2012 Share Posted November 26, 2012 It's shocking news and having just spent the last two months on a similar bus it's something that's always in the back of my mind, especially as I was in bus crash a few years ago. My thoughts go out to Marcus, his band & crew, all at Coach Services and the friends and family of the driver. On a tour the bus driver isn't "just the driver" as he is a member of the crew, known by all, good friends to some and a key part of the tour. Terrible news. [/quote] It'd be fair to assume that the guy is a 'jazz' player, semantics aside and even if he hasn't turned his hand to the genre as such for a decade or two. He did have the lofty title of Miles's bass player after all. Not a great fan of his music or playing, but I do hope he makes a speedy recovery and it's really sad about the driver.
