It's a warwick star bass II (made in germany, no the cheap version). it's a semiacoustic bass, passive, bubinga body, wenge neck. Satrugar Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Amazing instrument! I just came back from a 2-day factory tour at the Warwick plant and got to try pretty much every Warwick there is. The Starbass was one of the most impressive instruments I played there. Absolutely amazing tone and great playability! Btw: It's an Ovangkol-neck, not Wenge. Only the fretboard is made out of Wenge.
