Favourite Charlton Heston quote; when Parkinson interviewed him he asked "Do you think God gets annoyed that most people think he looks like you?"
No he doesnt, he looks like Morgan Freeman.. :P

I had a meeting today, 1hr drive there, 1hr drive back.

Listened to Wham :D

First time I have listened to Wham since I've been a bassist..... OMG awesome basslines!!

You have made my day by coaxing me today x
Glad to be of service! x They had some great songs, really catchy, and with the added bonus of Dion Estus' laying down some awesome grooves, great tone too.

Torn - by Natalie Imbruglia
Great live version on youtube to jam along with . ( hope the rest of the band dont find out )

To make it a bit more credible I always point out to people that it was written and produced by Phil Thornalley who used to be the bass player from The Cure (when Simon Gallup fell out with Robert Smith). That of course works on the assumption that The Cure are more credible than Natalie Imbruglia.

Mrs Dog put on a James Blunt CD earlier. 'Moon Landing'.

Blow me if it isn't actually good. Really, really good. Liked it so much, I've ripped it onto the ol' dogPod.

Anything by Mr Burt Freeman Bacharach...reminds me of Sunday mornings with the stereogram on, just before Sunday lunch...

I don't really listen to cheesy music to be honest. Probably the most marmite thing I listen to at the moment is Everything Everything. They've had a couple of desperate-sounding attempts at pop hits lately but mostly they're still just a clever pop band with a vocalist nobody likes.
