Great... probably as good as anything else! We'll expect a full review, of course! :D

Edit: With pics! Lots of big pics!

Did you get a better price than from Bass Direct?

same price, I've dealt with Alex for ages and always give him the opportunity to price match before I go elsewhere

I'm tempted by going for a gig bag instead of hardcase.

As someone who recently went through pretty much the same process and ended up with the Mono gig bag, you need to think carefully about how the case will be used before making any decisions. The Mono is a good compromise if you can only afford one case and you need the ability to carry it on you back. However it's still noticeably heavier and bigger than a Ritter gig bag and compared with a Hiscox Lite Flight Case it's only slightly smaller, does not offer the same level of protection and costs more.

My tribal planet bag didn't really hold up very well, I more recently picked up a second hand iGig case from this forum - absolutely wonderful case. Very well made, comfortable and most importantly it provides plenty protection for my bass. If I hadn't bought one I would have gone for a Mono probably.
