eubassix Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 .. another instrument not so well-known (as yet) in the UK: this is a Skjold (pronounced 'schold', I think) Exotic Custom with a body of spalted beech, (front and back), and a seven piece maple and purpleheart laminated neck. The fingerboard is Bocote (an upgrade - even on this Exotic Custom, which is the top of the range) . The electronics / pickups are EMG, and overall it's a great sounding (and looking!) bass with a super light weight (8.2 lbs). 35" scale (with zero-fret), Vol - Pan - Mid with +/- and stacked Bass/treble:- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It certainly looked very similar and had the same spec as far as I remember...
