I am considering Gold HW actually, possibly black but some bling would look great on the colour. As for sound, luckily I got a passive p/up/active electronic one. Don't get me wrong the fully actives are monsters but I find the passive p/ups give it a bit of a rounder sound, a little less spikey and of course when you pull the pot up you have a passive bass which is nice to have in a Wick sometimes.
