maybe... I just think that approach to that track was too wimpy... and I like to hear toms sound like toms..

Wasn't about to scream he couldn't play on the basis of that post though... :)

Its an age thing - honest. !!!

I went to see Nazareth at Perth (Scotland - not Aus) a few yrs back during a Harley Davidson weekend.
They were so loud they emptied the very full hall almost completely within 10mins. Only the front 2 rows remained because they were in between the PA system. From outside at the bar they sounded great too - real shame and it was down to the sound guy IMO.
The next night was Suzi Quatro same hall. Whow what a show with perfect sound both volume and quality. Complete contrast and you couldn't get any more into the hall right to the end. If you get a chance to see her live its worth it. Very talented musician both on bass and keys.
