noelk27 Posted June 8, 2011 Share Posted June 8, 2011 (edited) Will depend on what the fret slots have been filled with. For my G&L Tribute L2000, with plastic inserts, was quoted £45. For a Fender Precision, with sawdust and glue infills, and where the slots would have to be "re-cut", was quoted £105. Both prices from the same repairer. BigRedX Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 IMO unless the bass is fantastic and you're never going to sell it, I wouldn't add frets to a fretless as there aren't enough fretless basses around in the first place.
