I have Recently bought a wireless system and it works great, the only problem im getting is keeping the Router secure on my strap. As a Metal player primeraly; I tend to do alot of moving around and im constently worried about my Router falling off and cutting out or damaging.

Are there anyways in which to solve this without using stupid amounts of gaffer tape?

When I read 'router' in your title I was a bit confused - being as that is the more conventional name for that there lil box (containing the modem) that connects your computer to a broadband phoneline. That'll be the 'transmitter' you are attaching to your strap. ;o)

Anyway - there are one or two companies out there that actually make straps with a holster for wireless systems - I'm afraid I can't remember the names, but they are definitely out there. I used to use a plain sports sock with the top cut off then sewn round to form a stretchy tube which worked very well - you could also use a couple of those really wide sweat bands over the strap to slip the transmitter under?

+1 for electrical tape - I used to use that to keep my transmitter on the strap, a few winds round gave a solid grip, but was easy to take off and didn't leave too much gunk behind. Also managed to do it so that you could still open the battery compartement without undoing the tape.

Cheap and cheerful, works a treat :)

Pro tip.

Use one of these holder things, and then slide a wrist sweatband of your choice over the receiver.

Job done.

but I'm sure most big manufacturers of straps are bound to do something as well[/quote]

I must admit ive been giving this thread a miss, thinking it was to do with networks.
