Dont have much gear, a Warwick Corvette active and a crappy Ashdown practice amp. Looking for a new amp at the mo, Minimark or PJB Briefcase is on the list. [/quote] check out www.lemonrock.com ..theres always ads for bass players of all abilities to join bands, irrespective of age, great site, i found my band members there, drummer 50, guitarist 40, me bassist 46, we gig at least twice a month, paid too, anyone can do it, its not about technical ability, its about enthsiasm. String togeather a set list of old blues and well known rock standards (bass parts are a piece of piss!) and you're away!
