well after a bit of a wait,
have just got my hands on my cirrus five stringer
1st impressions are good,lovely warm sound through the gk
just feels nice,lovely necknot too wide for my hands,
plays good
just see how I get on in the next few days

I was the owner of a Cirrus BXP 5, very nice bass, but sadly moved on due to circumstances heading my way. I tried a few and IMHO the Peavey had the nicest B string in the price bracket. (I tried Ibanez, Yamaha +1 one other I don't recall). A bargain for £220 I thought.

In all fairness though the cheaper ones play well but you have to eq them to hell! Thinking of chucking some passive seymour duncans in to see how that goes
