It was a great bass and I wish I hadn't sold it. But I have a similar Roadster version that will play again soon, once I replace the 2 broken tuners.

I'd love an SR1206, but am specifically looking for a 1996 version. Peaveys are rare here and I'd I've love a Grind or especially a Cirrus 6. I don't need wither, nor the BTB 6 and 7 that I might be able to pick up cheap locally.

The wenge/maple NT, rather than the maple/walnut veneer laminate version the two years before. Probably won't make any difference tonally or structurally, but it sure looks sexy and would look good next to my Cort A5 Ultra Ash and if I'm gonna have to import one, I might as well wait for the one I want. For the same reason, I'd like a BTB1826/1906 too.

I have a BTB846v that's waiting to become a large Bass VI, strung E-E, just need to custom order the strings, and because it has 16.5mm spacing, the neck feels very similar to the SRs.

 

The other BTB 6 and 7 I mentioned are from a local who's looking to move them along, and being in the middle of nowhere, they're hard to sell - also because of the string counts. I have some expensive car repairs to fund in the short term, but he's in no hurry.

First bass was a Peavey millennium bxp 5 string, totally inappropriate for a learner but I have fond rose tinted memories. Through my Laney RB9 with a fan that sounded like a Chinook taking off.

 

Go to bass is a Chinese bitsa that has been repainted in every colour, currently sporting beige floral nursing home wallpaper. It weighs absolutely nothing and sounds superb with emg jx pickups 

 

"Your bass" probably same as above or it's pink Hawaiian painted sibling
