1. Yea thats not a bad idea! I heard from Glockenklang. I asked them where I can get some from and they basically replied telling me that they have a 6.7mm shaft and thats it, I suppose thats kind of helpful.
2. I did mention it to him when I first got it, but didn't reply. I might drop him another message. And yea I have already sent an email to Glockenklang, so hopefully if it's as good as you say they might sell me some.
3. Well I've had a look at that ebay shop and I could get the standard washers from there, but don't have nuts that are thin enough. I could get the lock washers from a hardware store I think, so I'm not too concerned with finding them. It's just the nuts that seem to be difficult to find. CH Guitars have these, but they say they are for mini and full size pots, not sure what that means. I've contacted them to ask them. http://www.chguitars.co.uk/hardware/screws-springs-nuts/sc17-four-x-nuts-and-washers-for-volume-and-tone-pots.html Oh and I've also contacted Glockenklang directly, but we'll see if I get a reply. I can't believe its this hard to find some.
4. Hello, I got a Glockenklang preamp off here a while ago and he sent it to me without any nuts or washers and I cant find any that fit. They're a lot smaller than the standard size and I've also tried metric nuts from Allparts and they are also slightly too big. My callipers say that the diameter is about 6.7mm but I can't seem to find any on the internet. So if anyone knows what type pots these are and where I can get nuts and washers for them it would be greatly appreciated. Ideally located in the UK. Thanks, Adam
5. I got them to build me a neck and its superb! You'll love it, and I look forward to seeing this come together.
6.
Nice bridge. I have one I fitted to my Squier. I simply drilled new holes. Worked great. I changed it back when I sold the bass and there was no damage to the old holes. if I were you I'd simply use it.
Sorry for the late reply, but thanks for the info, but if already bought the new bridge as I didn't fancy drilling some new holes.
7. This is a great price for a top quality brand new condition bridge, so final bump, if no takers then i'll keep it for a rainy day.

Relic J5

I've been tempted do something similar. I made this video on how I did a relic telecaster, it might give you a few ideas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHwfeFjqcao
9. Hello, I recently ordered a chrome hipshot bridge from the US and i've realised that I ordered the wrong one. I need one with a fender mount, So rather than pay shipping etc to get it back to the US I thought It might be easier to sell on here. Its a 4 string brass chrome bridge with 19mm (.750) string spacing and 4 mounting screws. Brand new condition, it's only just been delivered to me. It cost me £65 not including import tax, so I'm asking what I paid for it excluding import taxes. 10. Yea I am tempted with just natural tru oil finish. I'm hoping to make a flame maple control cover instead of having a standard chrome plate. Might even dye that brown and sand that back as a bit of a contrast. Too many ideas....haha And Alpher are making some remarkable instruments. Definitely ones to watch.
11. Its been a while and the neck I got made has arrived....and oh my its such a beauty! Here it is; And in other news, when I applied the Rustins Plastic coating it seemed to react with the dye a little and made my burst...well not really a burst any more, so I did this.... I'm going to be starting again, but trying a different finish this time. Might keep it natural, or washed black dyed finish. or maybe something like the one attached. Any thoughts?
12. I have just realised the bridge has a mark on, so I have reduced the price. (see pictures)
13. Hello, I'm selling my Babicz bridge as I'm after something with a wider string spacing. Its chrome, has been on a bass that i've not played a lot so is in very good condition. Its a very solid bridge and has great sustain and sound. EDIT: I've just noticed there is a slight nick in one of the saddles, This does not affect its functionality and you won't really see it once its on the bass. But rest assured, the rest of it is in perfect condition. I'm not sure how it happened. I have reduced the price accordingly. [s]£60[/s] £50 delivered within the UK. or Trade for a 4 string chrome hipshot bridge with string spacing around 18/19mm
14. I'll take all 3 if they haven't already gone.
15. Yea, I kept meaning to do that, been far to busy with life! Stupid life! Can't wait to get this neck!
16. Sorry for the late reply, not had a chance to reply. Too much work and not enough play. I'm not up on my wiring, do you have a diagram on how I would do that?
17. Hello, I'm looking at getting a EMG BTS System, but I'm a little confused. Do you have to use active pickups with it? I want to use some passive pickups that aren't EMG. The website says to use EMG pickups only, I just wondered if there is a reason for this, or is it just marketing, or can you use any passive pickups? http://www.emgpickups.com/accessories/bass-accessories/bass-eq-active/btssystem.html Any help would be appreciated.
