1. would love a trade (probably with a bit of cash my way) for high end lined fretless jazz or P basses What you got?!
2. I know, crazy times in the market! Thanks for the suggestion - it's something I will do further down the line if it still hasn't been rehoused. Just feels like such cold treatment for something I love so much!! To be honest whilst it's not selling I do still like having it in the studio as a recording tool. maybe I'll take some more pics see if I can't entice you back hahaha
3. had a quick spin on this the other day - it really is absolutely outstanding sounding, you're more than welcome to come and give it a spin if you're local enough. You'll want it after you play it!! I would consider trades for a high end lined fretless...
4. *you do have to buy the bass to qualify for the tea

6. hehe thanks fingerz come on you addicts someone must wanna take this off my hands
7. Hi everyone! PRICE DROP £1350 - THIS IS RIDICULOUS Finally got to let this beast go. It's a 5 string 35" scale super jazz (Lion's Pride A) from the amazing Pete Skjold. I've owned it for around 6 years I think, originally came from somewhere on this forum, no idea where though! (maybe Leeds!?) I've recorded with it on loads of stuff and it always sounds fantastic. It's a real weapon, can do an amazing Marcus and the bridge honk is really something special, if you're into that. The top is some kind of mental rippled maple, when you hold it up to the light you can see the shape of the grain. It's pretty nuts, I spoke with Pete Skjold about it and he was singing it's praises saying he hasn't seen a piece like it since. The neck is an un-laquered 3 piece with morado fretboard I think, and it's really fast. Overall feel is surprisingly light and nicely resonant. I'm afraid I don't have anything handy to weigh it with, but it weighs less than my 4 string Stingray, apologies if that's not a very helpful thing to say. I *think* it's ash, and it's got a 3 band active EQ with a variable mid frequency which you adjust round the back. I don't really know too much more on the technical side, but I've always found Pete Skjold very helpful and friendly over email, he even called me to talk me through adjusting the mids - suffice to say you'll be well looked after if you choose to join to Skjold clan. If you do have any questions I will do my utmost to help! Condition-wise it's pretty spotless and super shiny, there's a small nick near the locking jack, a tiny mark in the lacquer on the bottom edge which has been there since I got it, and some light indentations on the headstock. No actual chips etc., it's the most expensive thing I've ever bought so I looked after it! I haven't played it properly for a while as I'm back on 4 strings all the time now, so you might need to set it up a bit for yourself but I expect you'd want to do that with any instrument to get it right for you. I'm based in Wimbledon if you want to come and tickle it. No trades I'm afraid. IT'S £1350.....
8. Pete's a top top bloke to deal with. Extremely friendly and thoroughly reliable. Don't lose faith in humanity yet guys, there are still some really good people out there!!
9. Man that's so purdy. Chenzo on here was looking for one of these I think. May be worth shooting him a PM.

11. Focusrite Saffire or Saffire LE will be good choices, go for around £150-200 and give you multiple outputs and good sound quality. You could even run your bass through it (legendary preamps) which would eliminate the need for any kind of A/B switch before your bass amp. Add to that if you ran Ableton or, even better for this in my experience, Logic, you could actually use your midi keyboard to trigger VSTs on the bass guitar live- it's a lot of fun to play around with. But in answer to the main point of your post I think you should go for it, it's a great idea!
