1. Bump. I would also take a Spector Euro 4 or 5 in a trade as well.
 2.
Thanks for the replys. Phoned Strings n Things this afternoon and they seemed a little vague, but if they're ok then i'll probably pop in on Friday. Also phoned Jaywalk guitars in Street, anybody used these guys before? Does anybody know where Dom in Somerset works? I phoned Kim Webber once to ask about replacing a nut on a bass, he quoted me £20 on the phone so i took the bass to him, only to find out when i got there that the cost had increased to £30, and that he wouldn't fit the nut without also doing a set-up which was another £60 on top. He may be highly recommended, but he won't be seeing any of my cash.
Ahh sorry to hear about that man. I hope you can get it sorted soon.
 3. Would this tickle your fancy in the slightest?
 4. There's Kim Webber who's based in Bridgwater who is a luthier as well, I've used him a few times and he's always been spot on. KWG Other than that, Strings & Things in Bridgwater do set ups as well for like £30 and they're pretty good too.
 5. Bump with price as something has come up £650 delivered.
 6.
Any interest in this? basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88335
Thanks for the offer but I'm really only interested in the basses I stated above.
Would you be interested in a straight sale? BTW Loved the sound clip not at all what my ears were expecting Pete
I'm yet to see anything that I'd like to sell this bass for so for the meanwhile it's only up for trade. And thanks man
Was there not some talk of Florin over at the Warwick forums taking this before?
Yes there was but I offered Joe my NT Thumb 4 and he went for that
Nooooo! cant believe you're selling this already mate, will you ever find the bass of your dreams?! haha Best of luck with the sale/trade! for other bass chatters who dont know josh, he is a great person to deal with.
I doubt it man, I'm probably always going to be changing.
 7. I've had a good run with this bass, time for it to move on. Many of you might have seen this when Joe(TDM) first bought it from Ebay and subsequently moved it on himself, so this is old news to some of you, but I think the story behind this bass (Please feel free to correct me Joe ) is that it was commissioned by a Glam rock/metal bassist a few years ago (2003-2006?), so it is as such, a bit road worn and personalised to a degree. There were some minor issues with this bass when Joe received it, those included: Loose nut, horrid metal hoop strap locks and the truss rod need some adjusting. Those problems were fixed up by John Shuker prior to doing the deal with Joe. The paint work of course is itself a minor issue or a major issue, depending on your outlook on life but the neck has been stripped of any paint and sanded down and is perfectly playable. The body coat however is pretty much 88% still intact and looks good, but there are some cracks on the paint work around the controls and the neck joint on the back seemed to be somewhat of a hack-job, but as such does not affect the bass itself at all, in fact it is a good candidate for a refinish as the natural bubinga body is just underneath and is visible through the cracked paint. All shall be made clear in the pictures below. Pics: Hopefully as you can see, they are not major and in no way affect the playability of this bass at all. All the electronics work absolutely fine and this bass does sound as NT Thumb should IMO and I have only just recently recorded my bands album with it and I have a song as an example of this bass in a mix, and that can be found Here! In the flesh this bass is brilliant, it has both the novelty of the LED's and the fact it is a great bass, with a decent bit of mojo to it as well IMO. If you take away the gloss finish and the LED's it is essentially a NT Thumb 5 string and that's why I traded for it. Specs: - Neck-through-design (hidden neck) - Bubinga Pommele body - Ovangkol neck with Ekanga veneer stripes - Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard - Scale length: 34" (long scale) - 26 frets - Active MEC J/J pickups - Active MEC 3-way electronics - Warwick tuners - 2-piece Warwick bridge - Black hardware - Weight: 4,5 kg Ideally I'm looking for a trade for a good active 4 or 5 string Jazz bass, but I could be tempted with a Lakland 44/55-02. Now up for sale, £650 delivered. This bass will come with the appropriate Allan keys and a padded gig bag. Thanks all, Josh.
 8. Smooth and warm as possible, treble is fully cut, I'll have maybe a little bit if I have some slap parts coming up but other than that even the slightest bit of treble ruins my tone. My Thumb is naturally warm and prominent in the lower mids so I have little need to muck around with my eq on either my bass or amp.
 9. Ryan Martinie Andrew Gouche Tye Zamora Dirk Lance Ryan is the one I always come back to.

Should I buy it for you?
Damn, if that mofo' had a maple fretboard we'd be deep in conversation right now

 16.
I live near Wisbech so will keep a look out. If you're stuck for a head, I rehearse at Regal House and regularly leave my gear in the studio, so you're welcome to use my Ampeg SVT 2. I play in a band with Rich and Rob Knight who run the studio. Rob mentioned you were booked in to record.
Now that's some awesome luck right there! Quite ironic as well because I noticed your set list and joked with Tim and Rob saying that your going to need a decent bass player to play most of those songs:P Thanks so kindly for the offer though man, but we've had to cancel the rest of the recording but again that's extremely generous of you and I really appreciate it:) And Rich and Rob have just walked in as I've wrote this!
 17. Yeah man, a few days before before I was going to use it to record with for our album.
 18. Hey Guys, My Gallien Krueger 1001RB Mark 2 has been stolen from our bands car at some time in the early hours of this morning. All the appropiate services have been notified and details have been given, but if anyone in the surrounding area of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire come across a rack cased Gallien Krueger 1001RB Mark 2, with a Behringer rack tuner also. If anyone sees anything then please get in contact via PM A.S.A.P. Much appreciated guys, Josh.
 19. Pretty recent shoot with Tom Barnes, I'm the one in the white Architects shirt:
Josh is right to be pedantic, my cousin lives in Bridgwater and gets very upset when it's spelt wrong Josh you have no avatar anymore?
A few hundred years of in-breeding is to blame for our substantial lack of spelling ability to somehow forget the E in Bridge... Nope, I have nothing witty or interesting to show anymore.
Ah, well at least it doesn't have That Smell any more. I still drive through there with the doors locked and windows up though
The ever putrid smell of Bridgwater still lingers if your around long enough, and down the right road of course.
 22. Sorry to be pedantic...But Bridgwater hasn't got an E
