Reduced to £750 as an old bass resurfaced and I'd love to get it back. All trade offers are welcome (Realistic and sensible offers please), I just need a good active 4 or 5 string

I forgot to mention that I can add money to a deal as well I've got some work coming my way which may require me to have a bit more of a precision tone so for the first time in ever I'm actually interested in trading for a precision.

Hey Guys, This is a great bass and it has a great preamp but I would prefer something different as I've alread got a JO5 and it generally tend to play that one more. Just a quick picture until I take a few more later (It's the middle one): This bass has been really well looked after by it's previous owner and as said it has been upgraded with a Audere JZ 3 active preamp, more information on the Audere can be found here at http://www.audereaudio.com/JZ3.htm The bass will come with a Hiscox hardcase which is also in great condition too. Trade Bait: Lakland 44/55-02 Jazzes & Precisions (Preferably active but I'm open to offers) Warwick Thumb BO 5 String Musicman Stingray 4 String Price: £850 inc. delivery Thanks, Josh.
9. Hey Mark, It's got the 3 way Z mode switch. I've switched through all 3 constantly and it's persistently there, I've also adjusted the gain controls too and again it is still there. I don't like having a preamp that you can't ever leave on one setting when you want to play it and get frustrated with it, whereas my other Lakland's it's never a problem.
10. Hey guys, I've recently aqquired another Lakland JO5 in a trade, and it's come with a Audere JZ3 preamp installed. Having read a couple of reviews I thought I had a good idea of what I tones I should be able to achieve. However, I generally like to play with my mids and treble cut and maybe a little bit added on via my GK MB200 when needs be, but with my 2 other Laklands and my Streamer I traded for this, I can always get the nice smooth warm tone which is what i tend to play with. But even when I've cut both the mids and treble on the bass and on the head, there is still a distinct mid and treble presence and I'm not getting on with it as it ruins any smooth tone I'm trying to achieve. Is this common of the Audere or is it because of the stock passive Lakland picks ups? Thanks guys, Josh.
11.
The Warwick serial No. seacher only works on post 2000 models, the A means January and the 97 means 1997.
Thanks for that
12. Was just about to update the main post as I collected it from Waghorn Guitars in Bristol today and problem was a very easy fix. The electronics now work perfectly fine
13. Sorry for the delay guys, here's some new pics: Also here is the serial number: A03472497 But I've entered it on the Warwick serial number searcher and it's coming up blank, which is a tad annoying.
14. Back in England bump. Wil get some new pics up on Monday.
15.
Youre welcome Josh. Having owned a couple of later model LX and the Bolt-on I found they had it right with these earlier models, to my preference. I'd be sorely tempted to get in touch about this myself if I wasnt on a jazz bass kick at the minute.
How about that fine 44-02?
16.
I owned this lovely streamer for a good while. Its a 1997 "Streamer Bolt-on" , the forerunner to the "LX", The body is shaped more like the thru necks of the time (a little thinner than the LX). Cherry wood body, Prodominantly maple neck. I always thought the fingerboard looked like ebony. Made in Germany, lovely bit of kit.
Thanks Dave, Amended the thread.
17.
If its a bolt on then its not a Stage 1. Its an LX4 either Rockbass or pro I expect. PM Sent.
It was before they became known as LX models, it says Stage 1 Bolt On on the truss rod cover. It's a 97/98 model, I'll need to check the serial when I get back.
18. Hey Guys, I've had this for a good few months now and it's a great bass, warm sounding with that traditional Warwick growl. *The electronics are fixed and work perfectly* The bass is in great working condition for a 10+ years old bass. I'm only looking to move it on as I've developed a taste for Laklands and I've been using a Stingray every day since I've been out here and I've kind of taken to it. Pics: (As said I'm currently in California right now so I've only got the one pic) SOLD. Thanks, Josh.
19. Bump. How about £325? Which includes a padded Ritter gig bag.
20.
Can delete it if you wish...
I'm sorry man I didn't mean it like that, I meant it's just a rushed live recording, whereas if it was recorded properly it could've sounded much better. Although the slap tone is pretty accurate, very MM esque and full
