SOLD

SOLD my black stagg eub, its actually an eastcoast which is exactly the same as the stagg but just has a different name, relabeled for PMT where i purchased it. i have owned this for about 7 months and hardly played it as i have decided double isn't really for me and i want to buy an acoustic bass but need the funds (one in one out) its in nice condition and has hardly been played, the only difference between this being new and second hand is that where it said eastcoast on the headstock the lettering of the print was a bit poor (and if im honest looked a little cheap) so i rubbed it off. it comes with the eastcoast heavily padded gig bag. i will post some pics up later when i get a chance but its the same as in this link http://www.dv247.com/guitars/stagg-edb-3-4...ic-black--50147 im looking for £260 or nearest offer, i would prefer this collected from northants as its pretty large to post but i would consider a courier. thanks for looking Chris
17. Sold an aria pro 2 to Lee, he was quick to pay and even assisted with the shipping, top bloke would highly recommend
18. i own an aerodyne precision, its a p/j configuration but the neck is slightly thinner than a precision, but slightly wider than a jazz.
19.
PM'd
and sold
20. For sale my aria pro 2 xrb series, i think its a 1987 made in japan (but possibly korean) in pretty good condition for a 23 year old bass...finish is a little worn in places but nothing serious. plays pretty good but could probably do with a minor setup. £50 collected from Northants, and i will throw in a hard case.
21. many thanks for all your replies.......i think what it boils down to is a pure sine wave inverter is a pretty expensive bit of kit and wouldn't really make economic sense to go down that road......if i had the know how then possibly just converting an amp at its power source to 12vdc would prob be a good shout.....but ultimately i think i need to invest in a descent battery amp! i have tried the Roland one before in a shop about a year ago.....not sure if it was the bass i used in the shop but it sounded pretty terrible, although i have heard good things on here....also a pignose 30 or a crate taxi 50 watt battery amp i have heard good things about....and although the price tag is a bit steep at around the 200 quid mark ultimately it will make sense as my band seem intent on busking pretty much on a weekly basis now!
22.
for software try reaper out Reaper
and as simple as that i think i am sorted! many thanks
23.
Probably because the inverter ain't got a lot of smoothing 'if any' on the output so you're getting a ton of 50Hz hum. Pretty sure the inverter won't be rated suitable for audio devices. What you need is a amp that runs on 12VDC
Hmm seems to make sense then! i have a 12v amp but its mainly for a guitar as it sounds like a chorus of farts with a bass running through it! so is it possible with a different type of inverter then?
24.
I've just got myself an m-audio fastrack ultra 8r and as fars as im concerned its awsome. It can record 8 channels simultaniously, and its about £270 http://www.dv247.com/computer-hardware/m-a...nterface--50046 If thats too many channels Theres its little brother the fast track ultra which only has 4 mic preamps in. http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/3449...m_campaign=base hope that helps.
Thanks s1ater that seems to pretty much tick all the boxes, what software do you use with that?
25. Not sure if this is being posted in the right place so apologies if its wrong. I have a 12v to 230v power inverter rated at 300w continuous and 600w peak, i thought i would see if i could power an amp from this via a 12v deep cycle battery, when i plugged the amp in it just made a horrible hum from the back and didn't allow me to power it up, the amp is only about 20w. So was i just being optimistic when i plugged this in? or have i just done something wrong? thanks in advance
